So I now have decided it is a good idea to have reminders all over my life of New York City, you know, to keep my "eye on the prize." When my number one choice for college was Saint Joseph's University, I made sure to post pictures all around my computer area and room to remind me when I wanted to not read slash do my homework slash be a slacker that I belong THERE, not HERE. Long story short, I graduated college from just there. It worked for me then, it WILL work for me now.

So far I typed in the words "New York City" on Twitter (yes I'm on Twitter, something I vowed I would NEVER do...KcNoSunShine...oh yeah I went there) and decided to follow EVERYTHING and ANYTHING that seems legit and New York City-ish.

When I moved back home in May, I instantaneously had to re-do my room so it didn't feel like I was back in high school, and my design concept was New York City. Lots of avant-garde black and white pictures of models and cityscapes, Jackson Pollack paintings, disco balls, all very NYC to me.

The more it is starring me in the face, the less I can lose eye contact with it.
